The Ndao Island

Just imagine when in front your eyes lay blue beach with white sand, blue sky and away from the crowded town. The beauty of Ndao island will take you to the fairy tale land.

Ndao Island is a small island in the District of Rote Barat Laut, Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. White sandy beach lay along seven kilometers. You would not ask the ocean because it is very clean with eye-catching ocean.

Ndao island population is approximately 4,000 people. Most of them work as fishermen, craftsmen weaving of gold and silver. Special for gold and silver craft, it is only in November. The native are very friendly. A friendly native will greet tourist who comes here.

There is a main native drink from Ndao Island; it is the sugar water from the palm fruit. In this island, liquid sugar is mix with water. It feels similar to honey. However, the potential of this liquid sugar has not been build yet.

GERUPUK BEACH

Indonesia is known with hundreds of beaches with excellent waves that spoil the surfer. Gerupuk beach is the most exciting place. The waves ready to make the great sensation of surfing!

Gerupuk is a beach on the east of Lombok. This beach has a natural landscape and known as the famous beach in Indonesia. Gerupuk also known as a favorite surfing spot for local and foreign tourists. Interestingly, Gerupuk Beach has waves with different levels. Guide will bring you to the desired spot to surf using the boat. For beginners, you must come to the Turtle Point. It is commonly used for tourists who are learning to surf.

THE LOVINA BEACH

Lovina located in North coast of Bali, exactly about 10 km west from Singaraja. Lovina beach is located in the Village Kalibukbuk, Buleleng regency, Bali. Lovina beach is a black sand beach and it is still natural. Here, you can see dolphins in sea waters, located about 1 kilometer from the shoreline. It have calm wave so you can travel on the sea using a fishing boat.

Lovina sea are known as the place to watch wild dolphins show. They are funny and friendly. In this area there are hundreds of dolphin! However, to be able to see wild dolphins, you have to leave early before sun rise. We must be gathered on the beach at around 5.30 am. The boat will take you approximately one or two kilometers from the shoreline. During the trip, you can see the vast sea and silhouette of Lovina. The dolphins only occurs between 6 am to 8 am. At that hour, dozens of dolphins will show their ability, some are jumping up and down. However, there are still some of the visitors who failed to meet the dolphins. SAIL MOROTAI 2012 PREPARATION

June 2012, a grand event called Sail Morotai 2012 will be held at the North Maluku . EE Mangindaan, as The Indonesian Minister of Transportation recheck all the preparation. He requested that all access roads to the tourists must be opened.

According to EE Mangindaan, the first thing that needs improvement is the air transportation through the Morotai Airbase. The runway should be cleaned and repaired including all the supporting facilities since it is the only air access to Morotai.

Kartini Beach is located 2.5 km from west Jepara Regency Hall. This tourism place is located in district Bulu. Baturaden is a tourism place located in south slope of Mount Slamet, Banyumas, Central Java, Java Island. Baturaden can be reached by private or public vehicles such as public transportation or taxi, the distance is about 20 miles from Purwokerto City.

Baturaden have a very cold air at night so the visitors are advised to bring equipment to protect themselves from the cold, such as jackets, sweaters and so on. PUNAKAIKI BEACH

A beach on the west coast of New Zealand was gone. Less than a year, the surface of Punakaiki beach has receded almost 2.5 meters. Smh.com.au  on Friday (04/13/2012) reported that on the east coast of city of Punakaiki suddenly disappeared.

This incident has never been reported by the local government. Although already lost tens of thousands of cubic sand, Punaikiki City government must revived this beach. The plan is to fill the sand on the beach.

Punakaiki beach is famous for its natural attractions the Pancake Rocks and Blow Holes. Pancake Rocks is a collection of large rocks that fill most of the beach. While the Blow Holes stay in the middle of Pancake Rocks. Blow Holes are a hole in the bottom of the rocks that spitting up the seawater into the rocks.

Blow Holes are will not spitting the seawater anymore if the sand did not immediately re-filled. Fortunately, the local government respond this problem quickly.
